【Pharmacological Effects】:Hormone drug. This product can promote fish hypophysis to release GTH; enhance female fish’s follicle to secrete estrogen which will help accelerate follicle maturity, ovulation and production of corpus luteum; stimulate sperm production and maturity for male fish. It is a high-efficient fish odinagogue, ensuring better efficacy especially for mountainous areas with large diurnal temperature variations and for poor gonad maturity of parent fish.
【Indications】: Promote sexual maturity or accelerate maturation for fishes
【Usage and Dosage】:
- Grass carp: one injection, 1.5-3.0mcg/kg. Halve the dosage for male fish.
- Chub, bighead: two injections. Total dosage is 2-3mcg/kg. The first injection needs 0.3—0.6mcg/kg. And the rest will be injected 10-12 hours later. Halve the dosage for male fish.
- Black carp: two injections; the first injection: 0.7-1.0 mcg/kg; the second injection after 12-14 hours: 1.5-3.3 mcg/kg + fish hypophysis: 1-3mcg/kg; for those with poor gonad maturity, the drugs can be used 10-20 days in advance.
Maturity acceleration: Dissolve this product in normal saline and then slowly drip the mixture into a mortar containing oleum morrhuae or tea oil five times of amount than the mixture. Grind it while dripping to make it emulsify. Prior to 10-25 days of spawning induction, inject as per 0.2—0.5mcg/kg. No injection or halve the dosage for male fish.
